Crossroads has trained therapists who facilitate therapeutic play in a specially equipped room. Play therapy is an ideal modality for intervening with children who are experiencing problems with trauma, anger, grief, divorce, acting-out behaviors, family or relational problems, and school difficulties. Often, children can work out problems through the language of play in a way that they cannot using words. Expressive therapies such as art and play therapy are ideal for helping get to the heart of problems and bringing healing when “talking it out” is ineffective.
